The article should be renamed "SS" -- "Schutzstaffel" is almost neverused in English (and is not common in german either). RJJensen 01:40, 24 September 2008 (EDT)

It seems like if Schutzstaffel is what they were really called, then that's what the article should be called, even if it isn't commonly used. Check out nazi for another example. HelpJazz 01:42, 24 September 2008 (EDT)

RJJensen is correct, in English, simply "the SS" is how the huge Nazi organization is most commonly known. JohnJustice 13:40, 22 October 2012 (EDT)
