SNP Politics and religion.

While some supporters hoped this would see the SNP adopting policies to preserve Scotland's Christian and Protestant heritage, instead the SNP were embroiled in a "cash for policies" row after they then dropped a key transport pledge that would have hurt Souter's commercial interests

The Scottish National Party has no theological leanings towards any religious persuasion.

The SNP has Local Authority Councillors, Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs), Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), and Westminster Members of Parliament (MPs) who are Muslim, Jewish, Roman Catholic, and various Protestant demoninations.
