Use of Wikified Dates to Feature "This Day In History"

If you Wikify your month-and-day dates, this has an interesting benefit: you can then create the page for that date and identify all the events in history that occurred on that date, but in various years. All you need to use is the "What Links Here" link on the sidebar. Then the keepers of the "Today in History" section need only look those up.

Errr I was under the impression that we shouldn't wikilink dates (per the Manual of Style) so I dewikied tons of them last night. They were all red links, so nobody's done any "This day in History" pages yet. Jazzman831 09:47, 15 August 2007 (EDT)
