The Daily Show caters more to college students than to Public school high school students, so does anyone mind if I change the article accordingly?
The current title of this show is The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, as the narcissistic Mr. Stewart (nee Liebowitz) has insisted it be called. Please retitle the page accordingly. J2xl 14:02, 2 December 2007 (EST)

Revert?
Why were my changes to this article reverted? My first reference was of O'Reilly's description of the show's audience, and the second was to a Pew Research Center report that showed that description to be inaccurate. Together these fully support the entirety of my edit. I'd rather resolve this here than start an edit war. Can someone explain this to me? --SStaples 23:48, 16 March 2009 (EDT)

- Well, let's see. O'Reilly may not be a conservative authority, but it is fair to say that he was reinforcing a commonly held misconception about the show's audience by way of his prominence in pop culture. I've never heard the Pew Research Center referred to as "a liberal canard" (you are welcome to back up this assertion with proof), but in any case, their study did show O'Reilly's statement to be incorrect. Moreover, I fail to see how the average time spent watching television for public schooled teenagers is relevant, since 1) you have not shown that the statement "it is known for catering to an audience of public school teenagers" is true because there was no source for this claim and 2) the 60% who watch more than three hours a day were from Memphis schools, whereas the national average is 35%. From the existing source:
- "On an average school day, more than 60 percent of the [Memphis] public school teens reported watching TV three or more hours a day compared with the U.S. average of 35 percent."

SStaples, read my blocking policy on my user page, and the Commandments and CP Guidelines. This is a conservative encyclopedia, a Christian friendly one. It isn't your right to come here and insert liberal bias, backed by sources that are universally recognized as liberal or leftist. We don't compromise on our conservative and Christian principles. I was sorry to find out that facts are now liberal. Please tell me what was wrong with my edits? The original content of that section made reference to factually incorrect or irrelevant material. The main audience of the show is not public school students, and hence any information on this group of people isn't relevant. Not liking the facts is not a reason to remove them.
