Talk:Tony Rezko
Chip, where'd you find the information that you used for the article? I was looking at Rezko's info on Wikipedia, and found a few of the sentences were word-for-word the same. Just curious if you could provide the citations, or explain the coincidence in wording. Just so you know what I mean, both WP and CP have the sentence, "After it had been reported in 2006 that Rezko was under federal investigation for influence-peddling, Obama purchased a 10 foot (3.0 m) wide strip of Ms. Rezko's property for $104,500, $60,000 above the assessed value." That's a pretty particular statement, with the use of the phrases "influence-peddling", the amount of money over assessed value, and the usage of the metric measurement and the words "wide strip". Also, the "Starting in 2003" statement is word-for-word, as well as the indictment line. Again, just wondering if there's a reason why it's so eerily similar. Jareddr, this "article" is a few sentences of dates and statistics. With all do respect, I think you guys here at conservapedia can get a little too paranoid about wikopedia. Chippeterson 29 August 2008
