I think we're living in an era where impeachment means nothing anymore. It is routinely used as a fundraising-raising tool. Any elected official at any level now can expect talk of impeachment to go with the job. Blame the Republicans for impeaching Clinton when they knew partisan Democrats would never go along, despite the harm it has done to the nation then and ever since.

Impeachment articles were drafted against GW Bush and Cheney; I'm sure some Congressman somewhere has articles against Justice Kavanaugh that haven't been filed yet. Pelosi has it down to a fine art; articles can be drafted and passed in days without hearings now. RobSFree Kyle! 19:27, 27 March 2021 (EDT)
