The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, was built around 550 BC to honor Artemis, the Greek goddess of hunting, wild nature, and fertility. It was located in the ancient city of Ephesus, which is in present-day Turkey. The temple was torn down in 401 AD.[1] The ruins of the city remain a popular tourist attraction today.
