Terry McAuliffe (born February 9, 1957) was the 72nd governor of Virginia, and lost by a decisive 51-48% in his bid to regain that same office in the 2021 election. A perpetual puppet of Bill Clinton, McAuliffe served as chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 2001-2005. In 2008 he served as chairman of the Hillary Clinton Presidential Campaign. In 2021 it was reported that McAuliffe was fundraising for a man who served time for having sex with underage girls.[1] McAuliffe is a strong supporter of Defunding the Police.[2] McAuliffe was re-nominated by the openly racist Democrat Party of Virginia as their 2021 gubernatorial standard-bearer.

McAullife is an apologist and defender of Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam's use of blackface.[3] McAlliffe stated as a policy principle that parents had no business in the education of their children.[4] After the brutal rape of 15-year-old girl in a transgender bathroom by a boy wearing a skirt, whom the Democrat-controlled Loudoun County, Virginia school board denied occurred while transferring the offender to another school to commit the same offense again,[5] McAuliffe operatives attempted to play the race card to stir racial animosity and motivate much of the Democrat base.[6]

As the 2008 Democratic primaries came to a close and it became clear that Hillary Clinton's campaign was over, McAuliffe appeared on the MSNBC show Morning Joe with a bottle of rum. After drinking several shots—an action which may have violated the group Mothers Against Drunk Driving's media guidelines [7]— he admitted that Hillary Clinton knew she had lost the 2008 primary race. On January 3, 2009, McAuliffe uploaded a YouTube video in which he announced that he would be running for Governor of Virginia in the Democratic primaries.[8] He lost the nomination to Creigh Deeds, who in turn went on to lose to the Republican Bob McDonnell in the general election.

Biden incorrectly[9] predicted[10] that Terry McAuliffe would win the 2021 Virginia gubernatorial election.

In desperation, McAuliffe's staffers resorted to racist dirty tricks in the closing days of the 2021 gubernatorial election. The Lincoln Project claimed responsibility for staging the hoax rally.[11] McAuliffe ended up losing to Glenn Youngkin during the 2021 gubernatorial election.

Email scandal

McAuliffe's political-action committee, Common Good VA, donated $467,500 to the 2015 state Senate campaign of Dr. Jill McCabe, who is married to Andrew McCabe, who later became deputy director of the FBI. The Virginia Democratic Party, over which McAuliffe exerts considerable control, donated an additional $207,788 worth of support to Dr. McCabe's campaign in the form of mailers, according to the records. That adds up to slightly more than $675,000 to her candidacy from entities either directly under Mr. McAuliffe's control or strongly influenced by him. The figure represents more than a third of all the campaign funds Dr. McCabe raised in the effort. Responding to Devlin Barrett's Wall Street Journal exposé on the Clinton pay-to-play scandals, FBI issued a press release:

Months after the completion of her campaign, then-Associate Deputy Director McCabe was promoted to Deputy, where, in that position, he assumed for the first time, an oversight role in the investigation into Secretary Clinton’s emails.

At the time the Clinton email probe was launched in July 2015, McCabe was running the FBI's Washington, D.C., field office, which provided personnel and resources to the Clinton email probe. At the end of July 2015, McCabe was promoted to FBI headquarters and assumed the No. 3 position at the agency. In February 2016, he became disgraced FBI Director James Comey’s second-in-command. As deputy director, McCabe was part of the executive leadership team overseeing the Clinton email investigation. McCabe was instrumental in supervising Hillary's investigation the subsequently clearing her.[12]
