The Cossacks

The Cossacks (1863) is the name of a short novel by Russian author Leo Tolstoy. The story is centered on a man who leaves leaves Moscow to live among the kozaks/cossacks of the Caucasus. It is famous for its colorful portrayal of the kozak life.
