The London Evening Standard is a British newspaper owned by Russian businessman and former KGB agent Alexander Lebedev. It is now funded through advertising. The paper endorses Conservative Party candidates in London and throughout the UK. News stories also favour more pro-conservative and anti-liberal positions as reflected by story choices and editorial bias.
