'''The Prayer of Jabez: Breaking Through to the Blessed Life''' is a book by [[Bruce Wilkinson]], founder of [[Walk Thru The Bible]].  It was published in 2000 by Multnomah Publishers (an independent publisher out of [[Oregon]]) as part of '''The BreakThrough Series'''.

The book covers the prayer uttered by [[Jabez]] in {{bibleverse|I Chronicles|4:10|9}} where he asks the LORD for blessing and more territory ("enlarge my coasts" as the KJV renders it), which the LORD grants; Wilkinson argues that Christians should pray this prayer to have more Christian influence in the world.

The prayer was (and still is) controversial: though since 2000 the popularity has died out, at its peak it was popular among followers of the [[Prosperity Gospel]] and even gained popularity among [[Evangelical]]s, but not surprisingly was condemned by others as seeking material blessings instead of spiritual ones.
