Tiber River

The Tiber River is the 3rd longest river in Italy. It flows through Rome, and has influenced many historical events, starting with the Punic Wars. The Emperor Tiberius was named for the Tiber River.

"Wading the Tiber" is a euphemism for converting to Catholicism.
