Tom Steyer

Thomas Fahr "Tom" Steyer (born June 27, 1957) is a liberal oligarch and demagogue that made his money in hedge funds as founder of Farallon Capital Management. He resides in San Francisco and has focused his resources on promoting the anti-Global Warming movement. Steyer spent $50 million trying to elect Democrats in 2014. He supported Hillary Clinton for President in 2016, and was himself a campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.

Steyer spent $140,000 a day on Facebook advertising for $1 donations trying to meet the 130,000 donor threshold to be included in Democratic debates. Speaking at the 2019 DNC Summer Meeting, Steyer said, "We can’t be chasing corporate money. … We should only be chasing people’s votes. As president, I would insist that the DNC not take one single penny from any corporation.”

Steyer is one of the few Americans directly exposed in the 2016 Panama Papers scandal, the leaking of 11.5 million documents that illustrate how wealthy individuals keep personal financial information private and engage in fraud and political corruption. Steyer's hedge fund has a history of putting money in overseas tax havens to avoid paying taxes. Steyer withdrew from the 2020 Democratic primaries after a video of him pandering by dancing to rap music went viral. The Council of Crackers sent out a formal apology.

NextGen America

Tom Steyer's NextGen America is also tied to the Sunrise Movement, and according to the New York Times, the two groups “strategize” together. Fix Our Senate is a group of Democrat millionaires and billionaires including Steyer and George Soros to slander and mislead Americans with fake news about Republicans.

Hate campaign against Donald Trump

In 2017, Steyer pulled $20 million to release a campaign against U.S. President Donald Trump to impeach him, his website NeedtoImpeach.com mentioned that the 3 million liberals had affiliated with the campaign.

Steyer ended his campaign for the Democratic nomination for President on February 29, 2020, after a disappointing finish in the South Carolina primary.

A Project Veritas video also introduces Andy Zee, an organizer for Refuse Fascism, a project of the Revolutionary Communist Party, talking about a possible meet-up with Democrat donor Tom Steyer.

Zee said the group was hoping to raise $2M to $5M to organize massive protests in major cities against President Trump. “You’re actually going to sustain millions of people, hundreds of thousands on the streets in certain cities,” Zee explained.
