A unicameral legislature is a legislature with only one chamber. The unicameral system is supported by the belief that two chambers are redundant and obstructive, and one can be more efficient.
Some examples of unicameral legislatures are:
- Nebraska[1]
- the Knesset of Israel[2]
- the Parliament of New Zealand[3]
- Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine[4]
