The main campus of the University of Mississippi is located in Oxford, Mississippi with three other branches in Booneville, Tupelo, and Southaven. It was founded in 1848. The University now has nine Academic divisions on its main campus:

- Applied Sciences
- Business Administration
- Education
- Engineering
- Pharmacy and Law
- And the Graduate School
