Like many liberal organizations and the entire politically correct imposition, homosexuals have developed their own homosexual language as a linguistic and rhetorical device to further the homosexual agenda. As John Honey aptly outlined in his book "Language is Power"[1][2], controlling the language allows one to implicitly control the perceptions of yourself. By changing the words used to describe homosexuals, they have surreptitiously tried to soften the public's view of them and undermine their critics as insensitive, draconian, and repressive.

There are three main methods for changing the language used to refer to homosexuals:

  1. The appropriation of innocent words to refer "innocently" to homosexuals and homosexual acts
  2. The creation of negative labels and phrases to color the opinion of criticisms lodged against them
  3. The naming of homosexual organizations with positive-sounding names or neutral acronyms

Appropriation of innocent words

  • Butch: A synonym for "tough" (i.e. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid), it now also refers to "masculine" female homosexuals.
  • The closet: An innocent storage room in the house has been transformed into a den of sin.
  • Coming out: Related to the closet, it gives a positive spin to the act of choosing a homosexual lifestyle. Rather the act being properly labelled as succumbing to brainwashing, the phrase casts it as a liberation from traditional norms.
  • Cruising: A casual, nautical, leisure activity for people to visit many places, it describes the activities of promiscuous homosexuals who "visit" many men.
  • Daddy: Originally, an affectionate term for a father, it is used among homosexuals who fantasize about their fathers incestuously (see Teens and Older Homosexuals).
  • Dike (or Dyke): The term for a dam in the Netherlands, it also denotes a lesbian.
  • Experimenting: Poses the idea that homosexuality can be "tried" without consequence before firmly deciding on one's sexuality. Sins can't be "tried" without eliciting the appropriate punishment from God, and socially there are many grave consequences if your homosexual activities were discovered. This phrase also appeals to those trained to revere science, since science succeeds with experiments.
  • Flaming: A verb meaning something that is burning, it used by effeminate male homosexuals who flaunt their sexuality rudely and against established social norms.
  • Gay: Originally a common synonym for "happy", it now almost exclusively refers to homosexuals, particularly male homosexuals.
  • Gay Mecca: a nickname for San Francisco, given its notoriously high population of homosexuals. The nickname is an offensive analogy of the religious pilgrims in Islam who are drawn to their holy city of Mecca.
  • Lesbian: Originally (and still) the name for the residents of the Greek island of Lesbos, it now commonly refers to female homosexuals. The residents of the island have fiercely fought against the theft of their name and their respectability.[3][4]
  • Queen: The term of royalty has been usurped to honor the most effeminate homosexuals.
  • Queer: A term for "slightly strange", it now is used by homosexuals to assert that they are only slightly abnormal.
  • Rainbow: A childhood symbol of happiness, it is now used as a badge of support for homosexuals.

Creation of negative labels and phrases

  • Homophobia/homophobe: comes from the common Greek roots homo "same" and phobia "fear", it literally means fear of being the same. Now it negatively means fear of those least like us, the homosexuals.
  • "You're just uncomfortable with your sexuality": used to dismiss the natural discomfort someone feels when watching or thinking of homosexual acts. It implies that the person is uncomfortable not because homosexuality is so reprehensible, but because they are secretly aroused by the homosexual act and are uncomfortable with this arousal. This phrase effectively shifts the blame for the discomfort from the homosexual to the normal person. It also cleverly attacks a person on the very personal issue of their sexual life, which can silence a response just from the shock of the social impropriety of the phrase.
  • "Do you have any gay friends?": It implies that if you knew homosexuals your opinions would suddenly change. However, you do not need to know a thief to know he is committing an immoral act. You do not need to know the sinner to know that he is sinning.

Names of homosexual organizations

  • Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD): making it seem that someone can be glad to be homosexual.
  • Human Rights Campaign: sounds like an organization that fights for people under oppressive governments, but in fact only fights for homosexual "rights" such as marriage.
  • Lambda Legal: a homosexual organization pushing for the abolition of Don't Ask Don't Tell. It uses an innocent Greek letter lambda in its name to hide its true purpose from being immediately known.
  • NAMBLA: The North American Man-Boy Love Association, their acronym is the name of a Greek symbol, the upside-down Δ (Delta).
  • PFLAG: An acronym for the Parents and Friends of Lesbians And Gays, it's suggestive of what homosexuals want to do to our American flag and the way of life it represents.
  • Queer Nation: A homosexual activist organization, its name implies the whole nation may be queer, or at least that there's enough homosexuals to constitute a nation. This falsely inflates their numbers, giving the incorrect impression that homosexuals are a myriad population.
