My name is Jack Driscoll. I am an aspiring journalist/writer, and I am currently in the process of having my first work published.

I despise two party politics,as often neither party has the people's best interests at heart, and both like to sometimes pave over inconvenient facts. However, that doesn't mean I'm a communist. Welfare should only be given out to those who truly need it (such as to support a family while unemployed), but should be cut off if the recipient is not interested in finding a job. If I was forced to make a choice of political leanings, I would have to say that I'm an Objectivist/Libertarian of a sort, because businesses should only have a minimum of regulations on them (primarily for safety concerns), and that the citizens vote with their money. If a large corporation is going to fail, let it, because a bailout would waste everybody's money.

I believe that the government should be reduced to it's barest of bones, that term limits be imposed on senators, representatives, and justices, and that a flat tax rate be implemented. I also believe that with modern technology, America could eventually implement a true direct democracy, and remove the congressmen completely.

I could be a better Catholic (give yourself a pat on the back if you catch the reference), and I believe in God. However, it is wrong to force religion upon those who don't want it, and to criticize lifestyle choices entirely on the basis of religion.

I'm not on this website to vandalize or add bias. I would like remove blatant lies and add actual facts.

You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill, If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice. I will choose the path that's clear, I will choose freewill! ---Rush
