Fred Phelps

It is not "liberal bias" to say that Phelps is known for his anti-homosexual viewpoints. That's what he's known for. And, by the way, I'm from Kansas, where he's from, and he isn't known as a pro-family leader. Even the most pro-family conservative politicans around here hate him. MountainDew 02:27, 25 March 2007 (EDT)

You sound like a moonbat from the late 90's. Why do you think Bush called it the "Defence of Marriage" amendment? Because he was defending a sacred instituion, not attacking homosexuals (no matter what the liberal MSM might say)! Why do you think they call it "Focus on the Family" and not "We Hate Gays"? Because Dr. Dobson is pro-family, not anti-homosexual! Why do you think they call it the "Family Research Council"? Because they're pro-family, not anti-homosexual. The fact of the matter is that it's called pro-family, and the only people who disagree are pro-homosexual liberals who are unfairly trying to paint conservatives as hateful, stupid, evil bigots.--Ashens 02:31, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
I suggest you keep reverting the page till they see it your way.
Besides, none of the people you mentioned condemned homosexuality, but promoted marriage. Phelps makes it quite clear that he wishes it upon all who do not agree with him to burn in hell. How is that not hate? --Hojimachongtalk 02:35, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
Because it's the WORD OF GOD!! God loves everyone. If He hates sin, it's because sin is evil.
I don't want to just get into an edit war, because that's useless. Any facts that I insert for the conservative view will just be deleted if we can't agree.
For goodness' sake, this is supposed to be a CONSERVAPEDIA, not a wikipedia clone, with all of wikipedia's biases. If it were up to people like you, we'd probably have a pro-evolution page right now!--Ashens 02:43, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
Phelps is a Democrat, like you. MountainDew 02:44, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
Keep your insults to yourself. --Ashens 02:49, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
Conservapedia is a far cry from "supporting hate-mongers with nonfactual information"apedia. ColinRtalk 02:45, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
Just like a liberal to call anyone who has Truth to be a "hate-monger". How long until you liberals outlaw the Bible as hatespeech? It's already taken place in Canada. --Ashens 02:49, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
It's a disgrace to Conservatives to consider Phelps as "Pro-Family". He has never preached a pro-family message, only "march to my beat, hate gays, catholics, and swedes". There was somebody else like that, his name was Hitler. --Hojimachongtalk 02:45, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
Nice ad-hominem. Remember, Hitler liked dogs. Does that make any dog-owner a Nazi? You liberals need to go to www.littlegreenfootballs.com and see how the REAL world sees you. --Ashens 02:49, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
Actually, calling Hoji a liberal is more of an ad hominem than comparing Phelps to Hitler. ColinRtalk 02:51, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
Hoji is fairly liberal, according to his user page. So what? MountainDew 02:52, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
Maybe you'd better let ColinR know that before he insults me some more.--Ashens 02:54, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
