Nice work

Thanks for this and that. And don't worry about vandalism accusations. I myself was thought to be vandal when I first started editing online encyclopedias, back in 2001. It took me a few months to prove myself. --Ed Poor Talk 15:25, 14 December 2009 (EST)

The vandalism was certainly a mistake, lesson learned. I tried my best to make up for the mistake a few days later; offering more accurate edits by providing additional information on the following czars: Alan Bersin, Ron Bloom, Gil Kerlikowske, Paul Volcker, Carol Browner, Jeffrey Zients, Cameron Davis, Nancy DeParle, John Brennan, Dennis Blair, Kenneth Feinberg, Vivek Kundra, Adolfo Carrion, Jr., Gary Samore. If anything, the notice of vandalism was a good thing because it verified how, despite Conservative values as a model for truth in Conservapedia, there are boundaries that must be upheld to remain encyclopedic. At first I felt like perhaps Obama was right and maybe I am an "extremist," after having been blocked on Conservapedia for being too Conservative. But then I realized it wasn't about that, but more about keeping to the facts and not spreading unverifiable gossip. Ever since then I've made it a passionate goal to remain as factual and relevant to any topic that I edit. I appreciate your kind words, too. It's always nice to receive recognition for the good work as well as constructive criticism for the edits that need additional improvements. So thank you! DerekE 15:52, 14 December 2009 (EST)

Interesting, for your use

[1] --ṬK/Admin/Talk 17:16, 20 December 2009 (EST)

Thanks! It makes sense. Perhaps another section should be created to provide an overall outcome as a result of Climategate, such as the necessary requirement that "Global warming, to be accepted as a scientific hypothesis, it must include details of how to prove it wrong--'falsifiability.'" I really hope the climate science community has learned from this (unfortunately politics and science are still holding hands, which is another clear need to change), so the article makes a great point. I'll look into this more when I return. Until then - Marry Christmas! DerekE 17:40, 23 December 2009 (EST)

Amazongate

A climategate and then a glaciergate and now an Amazongate. http://www.australianclimatemadness.com/?p=2956

And Alabama State Climatologist Dr. John Christy of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, has split ranks with other members of the discredited “hockey team” of climatologists exposed for fraudulently hiding and destroying data in the Climategate scandal that broke on November 19, 2009.

“I was at the table with three Europeans, and we were having lunch. And they were talking about their role as lead authors. And they were talking about how they were trying to make the report so dramatic that the United States would just have to sign that Kyoto Protocol,” Christy told CNN on May 2, 2007. See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2438131/posts Some of those guys provide some pertinent graphics.

I can try to add some of this to the page later. Daniel1212 22:38, 27 January 2010 (EST)

Lincoln B-day

Good catch Derek, done as requested.--Jpatt 11:10, 12 February 2010 (EST)

Congratulations!

I see Andy has granted you night editing privileges! It is well deserved, Derek. --ṬK/Admin/Talk 03:49, 23 June 2010 (EDT)

Awesome!!! :-D Thanks, Andy!
My apologies for the delay in response - I just got back from vacation. I am truly so very honored to have earned this privilege.
Jesus said:
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me. (John 14:6)
My prayer, a promise to God and to faith, and with it I give thanks for this life and for THE sacrifice Christ gave for me:

Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15)

For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!" (1 Corinthians 9:16)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16)

The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever. -- John Adams wrote this in a letter to his wife, Abigail, on July 3, 1776.
Long live Conservapedia; the achievements of Christianity and conservatism, from past generations and to this time forward forever, the truth shall set the world free. DerekE 17:00, 28 June 2010 (EDT)

Superb addition!

Superb addition, Derek, to Best New Conservative Words!--Andy Schlafly 23:52, 4 July 2010 (EDT)

Thanks! The source I added is disturbing to read, but it's exactly what the Obama administration is doing with every new "stimulus package" these liberal's force onto the American people. It's disgusting. Liberals have single handedly transformed the term "stimulus," by doing the exact opposite of what a stimulus insinuates. It goes well with liberal deceit. DerekE 14:47, 8 July 2010 (EDT)

Congratulations!

Congratulations on earning blocking privileges! Very well-deserved and overdue.--Andy Schlafly 21:28, 10 July 2010 (EDT)

I will use this privilege with careful judgment, as necessary, to keep Conservapedia from vandalism. Thanks! DerekE 21:09, 11 July 2010 (EDT)

Awesome! :-D Thank you very much, Jpatt. As soon as I get a chance I'll write an article detailing the Wenatchee larkspur. DerekE 21:36, 20 July 2010 (EDT)

"Not a democracy"

Thank you for that! It is among the most prevalent falsities repeated about our government...in some surveys over 70% of students stated the United States was a democracy..... :S --ṬK/Admin/Talk 07:09, 4 August 2010 (EDT)

Most of the time when I'm discussing our American government with someone, I always find myself having to correct them when they refer to the U.S. as a "democracy." I cannot stand it, either. It is certainly one of the most prevalent falsities repeated about our government, and it disgusts me. The sad part is, even intelligent people will mistakenly refer to America as a democracy. It goes to show the great lengths progressives have gone to infiltrate our education system and, quite literally, fundamentally transform the definition of our government system. It's sad, really... Thanks for creating that! Was just discussing earlier with another Admin that we needed such an entry.
