Thanks for your edits, and thank you for carefully citing sources -- something very important for editors to do.

Another of CP's recommendations is to be concise when adding information, and some of your edits, such as on the Orthodox Church article, have not. I tried making it more concise without removing the essence of what you wrote. We also strongly discourage long quotes and prefer paraphrasing (along with shorter quotations). 1990sguy, I think you are being overly critical. Conservapedia needs new editors and being overly critical will drive new editors away.

Conservative, you are being overly sensitive -- we are not going to sacrifice quality out of fear of offending someone. User:EasternOrthodox has demonstrated that he is mature and willing to learn -- excellent qualities to have. Besides, I complimented him for using sources, which I mean sincerely.

User:EasternOrthodox is completely free to go back to the Orthodox Church article and make any additional edits or re-add anything that he thinks is essential (also note that I merely trimmed his edit, and left much of it). --1990'sguy (talk) 21:31, 6 January 2019 (EST)

Hello Eastern Orthodox, I appreciate your edits -- they seem high quality and are sourced. I want to let you know, however, that it is CP policy not to treat evolution (or biblical creation) as undisputed fact. Thus, when dealing with topic pertaining to that, I strongly recommend using wording such as "according to...," "[evolutionists/creationists/whomever] argue that...", etc. Our reasoning is that there are thousands of sites which treat evolutionary dates as undisputed fact, while the views of scientists who believe in a young Earth (and I personally know a number of them) are ignored/mischaracterized/etc. We might have at least one online wiki which fairly discusses both views (and editors here hold to both views). Regretfully, I had to revert this edit because I thought it only presented the old Earth view (specifically, the earlier dates, before ~3000) without any qualification.
