James Madison

What information is contradictory to my point? He said in that quote that he favoured seperation of church and state. RDundas 22:04, 2 May 2009 (EDT)

I was referring to this source:

http://candst.tripod.com/tnppage/misq2.htm

...which illustrates that the source in which James Madison supposedly expresses his belief that religion is the basis and foundation of government is a quote mine and Madison's words were completely taken out of context. RDundas 22:48, 2 May 2009 (EDT)

Mother's Day

Thank you for the compliment. --Jpatt 19:39, 10 May 2009 (EDT)

Conservapedia is needed in other Languages also!

As an user bored and fatigued with extreme leftism from wikipedia, and because in other languages wikipedia is even many more leftist and atheist; I need to contact with people as you in order to work in a spanish version from conservapedia. And I need to know if I can post articles on conflicts between catholics and evangelicals in Mexico. God Bless you!. Eliécer Guillén.

All of the above seem fine to me, my friend. Hope this finds you and your family well and prepared for Summer! --₮K/Admin/Talk 20:15, 22 May 2009 (EDT)

Fine. I will see if any of them has already been selected. We are just fine of health, thank you so much. --Joaquín Martínez 21:37, 22 May 2009 (EDT)
My thought was although some were once considered unsuitable, many have undergone many changes, and we might want to re-consider. Of course I bow to your and Dean's judgment on this! --₮K/Admin/Talk 22:44, 22 May 2009 (EDT)
OK. --Joaquín Martínez 10:43, 23 May 2009 (EDT)

Thanks for the message, Joaquin! At the moment, I have nothing to recommend, though I've personally been working for a while on expading Twentieth Century period (music). There are still a few more sections and references needed before I can consider it finished and ready for suggestion, but you might want to take a look yourself and feel free to add some media. My next section will be about Latin American composers, including a special mention of Carlos Chavez; I notice that you've been responsible for CP's article on him, so please add whatever you like.
All the best to you and yours, JDWpianist 13:13, 24 May 2009 (EDT)

Boy martyr

  • What really happened may never be known. But the previously unthinkable theory, backed by considerable evidence, is that a Palestinian shot the boy in cold blood to create a needed martyr to advance the Palestinian cause. [1]

Based on the above, and my recollection of other reports, it's possible that the Arabs who attacked the Israelis also created a fake "martyr". --Ed Poor Talk 14:38, 27 May 2009 (EDT)

It isn't exactly an unknown ploy, historically speaking, is it? The Nazi's and Communists frequently did and do employ such tactics, when it serves their political interests. To a committed Muslim, in point of fact, it would be an honor to be murdered in furtherance of their cause, same as the Homocide Bombers believe. Alinski merely used history to make his "Rules for Radicals" which are merely the tried-and-true tactics of terrorists down through the ages. --₮K/Admin/Talk 15:15, 27 May 2009 (EDT)

Fair use of Floating Icebergs

Could you please explain to me the situation regarding the fair use of that photograph? I admit I don't speak Spanish, but I was under the impression that El Pais charged for the right to reproduce photos.JohnathanS 20:07, 11 June 2009 (EDT)

Block suggestion

Could you look into User:Wheelchairman? I've noticed some erratic activity by him/her and feel that he/she may not be legit. Perhaps you could investigate and see what you think?--CPalmer 10:43, 19 June 2009 (EDT)

Thank you! You might want to remove any pages he created too: they are obscene/moronic. JohnFraiser 10:47, 19 June 2009 (EDT)

Image_upload_requests page question

What does the strikethough of the text requesting an image mean? I requested some images and I noticed you edited them to place a strikethough, what does that mean? -- BMcP 10:13, 24 June 2009 (EDT)

That those images are already uploaded. --Joaquín Martínez 10:16, 24 June 2009 (EDT)
Oh! Thanks, I will try and look for them then. -- BMcP 10:20, 24 June 2009 (EDT)

Sotomayor

I am recommending mainspace article Sotomayor remain until Monday instead of Saturday. If enough people get a chance to read about her, maybe they will be motivated to call their Congress and press to derail her.--Jpatt 02:09, 11 July 2009 (EDT)
