Query - Roderick Miller

Do you know anything about Roderick Miller? -- 50 star flag.png User:Deborah (contributions) (talk) 11:06, 13 April 2008 (EDT)

No, not really. Why? --MilesM 11:08, 13 April 2008 (EDT)

I show you editing many famous american articles and thought you might know something about American history, the article was copied from wikipedia and thus needs to be deleted, I am going to contact Andy about it, I was hoping you could rewrite it -- 50 star flag.png User:Deborah (contributions) (talk) 11:21, 13 April 2008 (EDT)

I just added categories to those biographies, not much in terms of content. :) --MilesM 11:23, 13 April 2008 (EDT)

Advice to prevent you from being blocked

Generally when a word is blocked by a spam filter, it is blocked for a reason. As such, it is considered unacceptable to go around posting it. Thanks, HenryS 20:14, 13 April 2008 (EDT)

I allso visited the site not to be named, and i have to say, im bit puzzled. Yes, it's critical towards CP but does completely censoring it and not even allowing naming the site really do any good for CP? Conservapedia is extremely critical towards Wikipedia, does Wikipedia censor CP and filter it's name? No, they even have an article about CP. If anything, this censoring only makes me thing that they might be right about this site. Adamy 20:41, 13 April 2008 (EDT)
Regarding your change of my headline: Threats and intimidation, no matter how subtle, rarely work out on a volunteer-based community project.
I begin to feel less and less welcome here after just asking two questions about things that were in plain sight: Conservative's dedicated shout-out and the suspiciously vague "St. John's" news item. Next time I see something odd, I better just keep my mouth shut, huh? --MilesM 20:42, 13 April 2008 (EDT)
No. You are indeed welcome. The heading is neither a threat nor meant to intimidate. The fact is, the filter is there for a reason. Please don't try to find ways around it. Thanks, HenryS 20:49, 13 April 2008 (EDT)
Yeah, the same reason the Berlin Wall was erected. --Gulik5 23:39, 14 April 2008 (EDT)

I never lied to you. I didn't know who he was writing to. My exact words were: "I think the gentlemen might be editors at wikipedia, but that's just a guess." HenryS 20:31, 15 April 2008 (EDT)

Yeah, right. I've read through WIGO and Talk:WIGO and the archives. I know that several sysops lurk on that site more than some of their active contributors. You're a senior sysop (contribs dating back to March 29, 2007, gained sysopship for the first time on May 16, 2007). And while you apparently are/were not in the Special Discussion Group, there are strong hints that you were more or less closely communicating with at least TK, who most definitely was in there.
Are you telling me that you were completely unaware of the site's existence until just then? That nobody EVER brought it up? Or are you claiming that Conservative's custom-tailored letter would rather fit some vague and completely fuzzy group on Wikipedia than "that site"? I've seen old incarnations of his shout-outs - he recently openly addressed Ames in what appears to be a cross-site discussion. And your best guess was WIKIPEDIA?
Give me a break. I did quite a bit of reading recently - I know you're way smarter than you're trying to appear right now. So unless you had been kidnapped and mindwiped by Aliens just before posting your "Uhhh Wikipedia?" reply, there is a 95% chance that you tried to mislead me and others. I felt irked the first time I realized that, and your post here goes even further. Don't insult my intelligence or yours. We're both better than that. --MilesM 20:48, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
