Thanks for the belated welcome - I've been here since 2007 (or is it 2006?)

90/10

Please note the 90/10 rule against talk, talk, talk and your recent edits. Many thanks. --James Wilson 11:42, 11 September 2012 (EDT)

Noted. As a proactive parent, volunteer and business owner, with an equally proactive parenting, volunteering and business owning wife, I find it hard to find the time to make good quality substantive edits. I thought I was helping by clarifying points like today's discussion of indulgences rather than allow contributors to continue in error - like the Widow's Mite of hectic modern active Christian living.

Although, as someone who works with young people and has some teaching experience, I am uncomfortable with allowing someone to persist in their errors, I will remember not to talk, talk, talk...Rafael

warning

You seem to be doing a lot of talking but not much editing. Just a heads up, but you may wish to improve some articles. Kind Regards Dvergne 08:05, 19 December 2012 (EST)

Point taken, not just from you but from people who I work with. I'll leave our friend to his bombast. Rafael 14:29, 27 December 2012 (EST)

Hello!

Did you enjoy you vacation? - Markman 16:24, 13 June 2013 (EDT)

Congratulations

From looking at the warnings above, and your block log, you are in something of an elite group—warned and/or blocked by 2-1/2 of the most notorious people who were later unmasked as malicious vandals. I am referring to Markman and James Wilson. Markman's gloating comment just above was a particularly nice touch, and typical of his behavior. I also notice the block/unblock wars in your block log, in which Markman repeatedly showed his true colors.

I give you 1/2 of a point for DVergne—he was not one of the big ones; and his case was somewhat more complex.

Essay moved

Hi, just for your information, your essay has been moved here: Essay:Brexit: a Crisis for British Conservatism. The name is a little clumsy with two colons in it, but this designates the page as an essay rather than an article. If you want to change the name to remove the second colon, then I would be happy to move the page for you, although it's fine as it is. I also left a brief reply on its talk page. The original page name redirects to it for now, but I plan to delete that redirect in a while. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help! --DavidB4 (TALK) 18:54, 30 May 2019 (EDT)
