Thanks for spell checking my religion essay. I am a really terrible speller. --Rocky

Bang your head against a brick wall much? AdenJ 23:40, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

Only when I'm very frustrated, as it involves me having to exit my house. In cases such as these the wood of my desk tends to be enough. StatsMsn 00:09, 24 May 2008 (EDT)

You should do what I did - I built a hand held brickwall that I keep by my desk. Its good to as I can carry around when I go to my parents house, order pizza, rent dvd's or have to call the tax department. AdenJ 01:05, 24 May 2008 (EDT)

Your edit summary

You wrote an insulting edit summary:

you would know if you've actually read the book

Please review Conservapedia:Avoid personal remarks and try again on Al Franken. By the way, it's better not to use words like "rebut" or "refute" in a way that implies that a liberal is correct and a conservative is wrong, when the matter is in dispute. Maybe Wikipedia would allow that, but not us. Why not say "disagree" or "argue" instead? --Ed Poor Talk 07:03, 27 May 2008 (EDT)

Because rather than just disagreeing he cites a number of sources and uses relevant arguments to make a point (one example, refuting claims that Clinton neglected the intelligence community by showing funding increases during the Clinton era etc). I'm sure it is rare, but occasionally a liberal is correct and a conservative wrong, and in these cases it is a refutation. As for personal attacks I did not intend to attack another author, I wanted to state that it seemed odd that an edit contrary to a significant portion of the material presented in the book was made if the editor had read it, and was wondering if the editor had in fact done this. I admit I could have worded it better. Have you read it? If you put politics aside it can be quite funny in some sections. StatsMsn 07:11, 27 May 2008 (EDT)

This is not an apology, but a repetition and justification of the mistake. Acknowledge your error and submit a writing plan, or you can't stay here. --Ed Poor Talk 08:46, 2 June 2008 (EDT)

Since neither you nor Learn Together requested an apology I saw no reason to submit one, although I did clearly state: I admit I could have worded it better. Nonetheless, to satisfy your desires:
I sincerely apologise to Learn Together for any temporary or permanent harm that he has suffered as a result of me suggesting he had not read Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them by Al Franken.
If there is another error I have missed then please bring it to my attention so I can address it.
With respect to the writing plan, I intend to do the following:
  • edit articles where I have knowledge of the subject matter
  • create articles which have not previously existed where I have knowledge of the subject matter
  • correct mistakes where I believe I have sufficient knowledge to make a correct judgment
  • engage other editors on discussion pages with respect to the material on the article
Please let me know if there is anything else I can submit to appease you and the site in general. StatsMsn 06:39, 6 June 2008 (EDT)
