Giving out your full name is probably not the best of ideas. Just a suggestion. By the way, Welcome to Conservapedia! --Hojimachongtalk 18:54, 10 April 2007 (EDT)

I'm confused - why shouldn't I give out my name? I've got nothing to hide. --Thammersmith 18:57, 10 April 2007 (EDT)
Stalkers, rapists, molesters, murderers... It's just the 1st rule of internet safety, that's all. Just a suggestion. --Hojimachongtalk 19:03, 10 April 2007 (EDT)
I appreciate your concern. I think I'll be alright - Liberty is a pretty safe place!  :) --Thammersmith 19:09, 10 April 2007 (EDT)

Welcome!

Welcome to Conservapedia from a fellow college student. Your Liberty University article is top notch and I look forward to your edits in the future. (Ironically, I actually wrote an article about a Liberty professor on here yesterday.) MountainDew 19:46, 10 April 2007 (EDT)

I wrote it on Gary Habermas. I have to admit that I don't know anybody at the university, but I have a very strong interest in Christian apologetics and I've found his writings to be invaluable. MountainDew 19:57, 10 April 2007 (EDT)

Im sorry, Tim, see my comment on the page we were discussing. My essay is not to be taken literally.--PalMDtalk 14:47, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

Tim, not all parody is meant to be funny; in this case it was to make a point about a certain type of rhetoric. If you'll look at my recent contributions, other than the one that offends you, you will see that they are informative and neutral. The reason I stay at the site at all is that I am interested in views that I might not necessarily share; I like to learn and broaden my thinking, so even though, as you surmised, I am not an adherent of strict ID, I do wish to learn about it.--PalMDtalk 14:53, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

I find your entire argument disingenuous. If you really wanted to learn about ID, you would study it. You wouldn't write a parody about it. You're not here to learn, you are here to create a scene. --Thammersmith 14:55, 17 April 2007 (EDT)
Study hard, young man. You seem to have a keen mind. You are both right and wrong about my motivations. I have written no parodies about ID as such. Others have, but I do not claim any expertise in that area. I have simply used a rhetorical technique to point out the flaws in a particular argument about evolution. There are many better arguments against evo on this site than the one presented in the essay I parodied. But perhaps creating a scene is part of it, as you said. And, I do wish to learn more about ID, I read about it quite a bit. I hope you do the same with evo...not that I wish you to necessarily accept the theory, just understand it. Then you can either accept it or use your knowledge to refute it. Good luck, God speed.PalMDtalk 15:03, 17 April 2007 (EDT)
By the way, you seem interested in the topics at hand, and a potentially good debater. If you ever wish to hone your skills with me, let me know. I assure you I am not Satan sent to corrupt a pure mind.  : ) PalMDtalk 15:18, 17 April 2007 (EDT)
