Uther Pendragon

Uther Pendragon ('Head of Dragon') was, in legend, the king of England before King Arthur. He asked Merlin to make a spell to disguise him as Gorlois, Duke of Cornwall, to allow Uther to sleep with Golois's wife Igraine. From this union Arthur was born.
