Wendy's is a chain of restaurants founded in Ohio and specializing in fast food products, especially hamburgers. Wendy's is famous for selling square, rather than the standard round hamburgers. Competitors of Wendy's include the much bigger McDonald's corporation and the Burger King corporation.

Wendy's was founded by Christian businessman Dave Thomas and named for one of his daughters. As Thomas was adopted as an infant, the company has historically supported adoption causes.

Wendy's was recently listed as one of numerous leftist-controlled companies that have gone "woke" and now support the criminal rioters of Antifa and Black Lives Matter in the wake of the 2020 leftist riots.[1] Ironically, despite its support of BLM and Antifa rioters, the same rioters ended up looting and torching at least two Wendy's restaurants in Minneapolis and Atlanta after the George Floyd death and Rayshard Brooks shooting, respectively.[2] Nevertheless, liberal activists called for Wendy's boycott in July, 2020 after franchise owner and Muys Cos. CEO James Bodenstedt donated over a half-million dollars to the Trump Victory PAC, $200,000 in March and $440,000 in May.[3]
