Wesley Chesbro

Wesley Chesbro is a California politician who was the California State Senator for the Second District from 1999-2007.[1]

Political career

Following the retirement of then State Senator Michael C. Thompson, he was nominated to run in the 1998 election which he won. He won re election in 2002, against Republican challenger Peggy Redfern. He was forced to retire by term limits in 2007, and was replaced by Patricia Wiggins.[1]

In 2008, he announced his intent to run for the 1st State Assembly District, to replace the retiring Patty Berg.[1]
