The Christian apologist William Lane Craig debated the atheist Christopher Hitchens at Biola University in 2009 in a videotaped debate.[1]

As far as schools of atheist thought, the late Christopher Hitchens was one of the founders of New Atheism.

The atheist Luke Muehlhauser wrote concerning the debate: "The debate went exactly as I expected. Craig was flawless and unstoppable. Hitchens was rambling and incoherent, with the occasional rhetorical jab. Frankly, Craig spanked Hitchens like a foolish child."[2]
