Yesh Atid is an Israeli liberal[1] political party. It is currently led by former journalist Yair Lapid and has 17 representatives in the Knesset as part of the ruling coalition, with Lapid serving as Alternate Prime Minister under a mandatory rotation agreement with Yadima leader Naftali Bennett (who serves as Prime Minister); should the coalition last two years Lapid will rotate into the Prime Minister's role with Bennett then serving as Alternate.
Platform
The party supports the formation of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip,[2] despite the inherent dangers such a state will pose to Israel. For example, former IDF Chief of Staff Moshe Yaalon said that a Palestinian state will work against Israel and will seek its destruction.[3] It is also supportive of the homosexual agenda.[4]
