Everyone knows sleep deprivation <_<, i just find funny that they used rap Schwarze 20:45, 23 April 2007 (EDT)
- Why? Is torture funny? --PF Fox 20:47, 23 April 2007 (EDT)
- I think he means the fact that rap music was used as a form of torture is funny. Personally, I agree. While I think torture is a horrible thing, I can't help but find some humor in the irony that a "popular" genre of music was actually used as a means of torturing someone. I'm not laughing at the conditions those being tortured or "interrogated" were placed in, just at the choice of music used (I think that a lot of music played loudly in such conditions would be just as torturing). I have no sense of humor about this, especially when it's introduced in faux black dialect. This kind of "wit" is being used to trivialize torture, as the article on torture here illustrates.
For a site the purports to be "Christian", the dialogues about torture I'm seeing here are pretty disgusting. --PF Fox 20:55, 23 April 2007 (EDT)
HE said it, it's the irony of rap being used as a torture, not the torture itself, stop crying >:( Schwarze 20:58, 23 April 2007 (EDT)
- I'm not crying. I'm angry. And as I've pointed out, this deliberate misinterpretation of the use of Rap Music is being used to trivialize the article on torture here, as a quick look at the article's history will show. --PF Fox 21:00, 23 April 2007 (EDT)
