Demographics

Demographics is a study of the characteristics of populations, usually made by governments, although businesses and opinion polls have been known to use these forms of research. The studies are made through census and poll studies and have had wonderful success in informing people of specific characteristics of populations. These characteristics include religious creed, gender ratios, ethnicity, and social/economic status.
