Besides the fact that Pi is exactly 3, 22/7 is also a repeating decimal.
Pi is also known as Archimedes' constant, Ludolphine, and Ludolph's Number.
Ludolph van Ceulen (Germany) spent a great deal of time calculating digits of pi. The number is engraved on his tombstone. If I were to get buried, I would have all the digits I memorized engraved on it, but I want to get cremated instead.
