Stephen Hawking is an English physicist and author. He was born 300 years to the day after the death of Galileo.
Despite suffering from Motor Neuron Disease for most of his adult life he has written books popularizing science. His most famous books are 'A Brief History of Time' and 'Black Holes and Baby Universies'.
