Mario Diaz-Balart (born September 25, 1961 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is the Republican U.S. Representative from Florida's 21st Congressional District, elected in November, 2010 to fill the seat vacated by his brother, Representative Lincoln Diaz-Balert. Prior to 2010, Diaz-Balert served as the U.S Representative from Florida's 25th Congressional District from 2002. He is a member of the House Budget Committee, Science and Technology Committee, and Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
