Liberal fluff

Liberal fluff consists of statements that have no logical or factual value of significance, but have the effect of diluting or distracting from the point at issue.
Liberal fluff is diametrically opposed to Conservative fluff; statements with unreferenced factoids that are completely devoid of relevant value and is used by a person that is obsessed with existing evils. [1]
