Dignity of a Person is the title of a Vatican statement from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which reaffirmed the Catholic Church's opposition to cloning, embryonic stem cell research, and in vitro fertilization.[1] Although the liberal media remains skeptical of the Church for its position, conservative thinkers welcomed the decision.[2]
