Post-abortive
Post-abortive refers to the physical and/or emotional trauma caused to a woman by having an abortion, and also to the father of the unborn child. It can also be called "post-abortion syndrome" (PAS), "post-abortal", or "post-traumatic stress disorder" (PTSD). Suicide rates are twice as high among post-abortive people who fail to seek help or forgiveness.
Pro-life advocacy, Bible reading, and church attendance are very effective in overcoming this trauma. Liberal denial does not help deal with the underlying emotional, psychological, and/or intellectual harm that results from abortion.
Rock star Kayla Jones stated, “I come from an industry that promotes abortion ... I have a Grammy, but none of it will bring my children back. ... Do you ever get over it? Never. It is something that you will live with for the rest of your life.”[1] Kayla Jones is outspokenly pro-life now, as many post-abortive women are.
The United States, particularly the Democrat Party, has a relatively large number of people who are post-abortive. Entire communities or college campuses can be post-abortive and suffering from it, such as Washington, D.C. Perhaps half of the staff on Capitol Hill is post-abortive in some way, and disturbed by it. People who facilitate abortion, such as workers in abortion clinics or pharmacy stores that sell chemical abortion drugs, can also suffer from post-abortive syndrome.
Entire countries that are post-abortive include China and Japan, and now their populations are shrinking.
Unfortunately, reactions by some post-abortive persons can be so unreasonable when discussing abortion that it becomes impossible to have a productive conversation about it.
