Astrologers use their knowledge of the relative positions of celestial bodies and related details supposedly to understand, interpret, and organize information about personality, human affairs, and other terrestrial matters. A practitioner of astrology is called an astrologer.

Astrology is often considered as Pseudoscience by scientists, as it does not make its predictions via scientific means. Following the science methodologies adopted by Creation scientists, many astrologers consider themselves to be using scientific methods to show that such scientific evidence is consistent with their understanding and interpretation of the heavens and its effect on human affairs[1]. This view was supported by Intelligent Design proponent Michael Behe in his testimony during the Dover trial.[2]

Nancy Reagan was a believer in Astrology.[3]
