Bollywood is the name for the growing movie industry centered in Bombay, India.
It is the world's biggest movie producer, produces about three new movies every day - more than Hollywood.
Bollywood films are shown in theaters throughout India, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, Europe and worldwide. The DVD and video market is even larger.
The word is a combination of the "B" from Bombay and "Hollywood".
