Risk corridor

The risk corridor in ObamaCare is a program whereby insurance companies receive payments to cover their losses, particularly on the ObamaCare health insurance exchanges. Supposedly insurance companies that enjoyed profits were supposed to transfer a portion to cover these losses, but in fact taxpayers are on the hook for $1 billion these losses for the plan year of 2014.
