Is it really appropriate to use the term "leftist" in an encyclopaedia article that deals with the subject of climate? Doesn't it indicate an obvious political bias by an editor – when he or she is claiming to be neutral? Presumably many scientists are of both main American political persuasions, or are even indifferent to politics. Certainly we are all subject to bias, even scientists, or at least that is what the [[postmodernist]] claim, but if science is just another form of politics where does that leave us.
