:This touches upon the doctrine of Annihilationism which certainly deserves an article of its own Fox (talk|contribs) 07:54, 20 June 2007 (EDT)

Sourcing
The biblical account of hell seems contradictory here, especially considering the sources given. While the original article states that hell can only be avoided by Jesus' sacrifice, it also contains quotes from sections of the bible which state the opposite. In Matthew 25:31-46, for example, the criterion seems to be solely determined by the goodness of the person's actions in life. However, two quotes come directly from this section of the bible. Revelation 20:10-15 also mentions a similar methodology: "each person was judged according to what he had done" and it also has two quotes from it. The quote of Mark 9:43 shows similar theological problems: if salvation comes through grace, why do we need to cut off our hand?

I'm new here, so I'm unclear on how such an edit would be done, much less whether it would be advisable. --Lester 19:19, 1 December 2008 (EST)
Reversion explained
The edits by SMI were reverted because the font was changed to Comic Sans and a deliberate misspelling introduced. --Crocoite 06:20, 16 February 2008 (EST)
