Swiss arrest rewrite

I've rewritten the awful paragraph found below:

In 2009, while visiting Switzerland, he was seized by Swiss authorities, who, unlike the French, were unwilling to protect a pedophile just to stick it to the United States. He will soon be returned to the US to pay for his despicable actions.

Sex in movie

Is it really so bad that there's sex in a movie as long as there aren't shown specific genitals? --Elessar (talk) 14:17, 7 July 2017 (EDT)

I have never watched any of his movies, but here's a question (a serious one): in real life, if one sees a couple having sex, is it OK for that person to watch that couple? Most people would say "No" -- it's an invasion of their privacy. Why, then, is it OK to have sex in a movie and expect people to watch it? Christians and Jews (and Muslims, but I don't know of any who edit CP) believe that the only people who can and should watch those acts are the people doing them. If you watch a couple having sex you decide it by yourself. You also don't have to watch movies with sex scenes. But I've seen Rosemary's Baby and it isn't like a porn where genitals would be shown. Movies that show sex, even if they don't show specific body parts, bring something into public which should only remain in the bedroom. Also, movie makers do have a lot of influence. Promoting intercourse (and these movies, at least effectively, promote premarital sex) should not be encouraged. It's effectively pornography on film, even if certain parts are not shown. What we see going on now started in the Sexual Revolution. And maybe Titanic? There's also a harmless sex scene. Watch the movies, it's really harmless and absolutely not like pornography. Sorry, I also have not seen Titanic. :) I don't think any of these movies have sex scenes to promote pro-life views. Besides, while I completely oppose abortion, I (and other Christian/Jewish conservatives) still think that children should be conceived the right way (in a marriage). Just because sex produces life does not mean there are no rules for it or that we can show people having it. Most movies with sex scenes (if not all) do not have a high view of marriage, and all of them do not care about preserving the dignity of people by not showing such images. --1990'sguy (talk) 14:53, 7 July 2017 (EDT)

I'd say, Titanic is rather a, let's say, conservative movie. But movies are anyway entertainment and every true Christian knows that extra-marital sex isn't really alright. They can watch (or make) movies with extra-marital sex scenes anyway, for entertainment. This is no proof that Polanski would be a liberal or gay supporter. --Elessar (talk) 14:59, 7 July 2017 (EDT)

Of course I can't force people to make the decision they make, but extramarital sex is morally wrong, and promoting it is also wrong. Titanic may be a conservative movie overall, but from what I've heard, that scene is not. I am willing to remove the "Liberal" category tag from the article, but I will not accept removing the "homosexual agenda" tag. These movies are completely in line with the goals of the promoters of the Sexual Revolution.
