'''Ulysses S. Grant''' was the President of the United States from 1869 to 1877. He was born on April 27, 1822 in Point Pleasant, Ohio. He served as a Union general in the [[Civil War]] and is credited for victory against the south. After his Presidency he had a cancer in his throat and was in great pain for the rest of his life.
