Comparable worth

The comparable worth theory of labor assessment hopes to place government bureaucracy in charge of determining the value of work, rather than the marketplace, particularly when it comes to setting wages for men and women.

This is a Leftist agenda item.

The opposing approach, which is conservative and part of federal law since the enactment of the Equal Pay Act of 1963, is "equal pay for equal work."[1]
