Garrett Hardin

Garrett Hardin (April 21, 1915 – September 14, 2003) was an ecologist, best known for his 1968 essay "The Tragedy of the Commons". He later became controversial because of his 1974 essay, "Lifeboat Ethics: the Case Against Helping the Poor".[1]
His 1974 book Mandatory Motherhood is a collection of pro-abortion essays.
