Myxomatosis

Myxomatosis is an infectious disease found in rabbits. It was deliberately introduced to Australia in 1950[1] or 1951[2] to control the rabbit population there, but was also inadvertently brought into Europe several years later. Currently, the disease is a threat to the British rabbit population.
