The Parah Adumah (פָּרָה אֲדֻמָה) or Red Heifer is a perfect animal used in sacrifice for ritual purification as in Numbers 19:2. According to the beliefs of many Jews and Christians, the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem cannot be accomplished without this purification ritual, (HaShem willing) as all currently living people have in some way come in contact with the dead, making them ritually impure. There has been cooperation between Jews and Evangelical Christians to find a perfect red heifer.
