Talk:Apple (fruit)

I'm not sure what "mostly apples are eaten on their own, like oranges" is supposed to mean. What about bananas? I am surprised that two themes very dear to the heart of American conservatism has been ignored in this article. What are they? Well, let me give you a clue that points to both: What kind of pie did Eve bake for Adam in the Garden of Eden? MylesP 18:30, 11 January 2009 (EST)

I am not sure if this has changed in newer translations, but the original Bible mentions nothing about an apple in the Garden of Eden but rather the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Sulli 22:34, 18 January 2009 (EST)

Curious

I just noticed this article in Recent Changes, and was curious as to why it's titled Apple (fruit)? Can't the article just be 'Apple'? There should be no chance of confusion with the record company or computer maker, as they are Apple Records and Apple Inc.? JanW 19:08, 2 June 2011 (EDT)
